Refund and cancellation Policy
​1. Cancellation by the client

If you need to cancel your booking:

Cancellations made more than 7 days from the event: No further charges but booking fee remains non-refundable.

No-shows or cancellations within 7 days of event: 100% of TOTAL fee non-refundable.

Due to exceptional circumstances within 7 days (at our discretion): We will make every effort to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, a partial refund may be issued (excluding the booking fee).

By paying the booking fee, you confirm that you accept these terms.
​2. Cancellation by Face Paint Fiesta
In the rare event that we need to cancel due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, we will:
- Notify you as soon as possible
- Offer a full refund of any booking fee or payment made
- Suggest local face painters
​3. Booking Fee
To secure your booking, a non-refundable booking fee of 50% of your total cost (as quoted on your invoice) is required to secure your date. This fee covers admin time, resources and potential loss of business.
The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the event, unless agreed otherwise.
If you're event is in 7 days or less at the time of booking, the full balance is required to secure your date.

4. Rescheduling
​
If you need to reschedule, please notify us at least 14 days before your event. We’ll do our best to accommodate your new date, and your booking fee will transfer (if we can reschedule).
Rescheduling requests within 14 days will not be accepted, and the booking fee will be non-refundable unless there are exceptional circumstances.
5. Refunds
​
Refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of Face Paint Fiesta. Where a refund is agreed these will be processed to your original payment method within 7 working days.
Please note that we do not offer refunds for dissatisfaction with face paint designs once the service has been delivered, as we always work to ensure client satisfaction through communication and professionalism.​

6. Weather conditions
​
For outdoor events, it is the client's responsibility to provide a sheltered, dry area for face painting (such as a gazebo or marquee). In the case of extreme weather that makes it unsafe or impractical to perform, Face Paint Fiesta reserves the right to cancel the service. In such cases:
- We will attempt to reschedule the booking, subject to availability
- If rescheduling is not possible, a refund may be offered at our discretion (excluding the booking fee)
